Poverty affects millions of people in the UK. Poverty means not being able to heat your home, pay your rent, or buy the essentials for your children. It means waking up every day facing insecurity, uncertainty, and impossible decisions about money. It means facing marginalisation - and even discrimination - because of your financial circumstances. The constant stress it causes can lead to problems that deprive people of the chance to play a full part in society.

KLSB provides support to more than 60 households every week in Larbert, Stenhousemuir, and the surrounding areas. Our support includes providing highly subsidised groceries through the community pantry. We also offer emergency support referrals through local support agencies such as social work, support workers, schools, NHS Forth Valley, and Police Scotland. Our local Rotary Club supports us by providing quality clothing through their clothing bank. Additionally, we organise weekly initiatives from our community cafe, including elderly lunch clubs, barista training, and cookery classes.

We are a non-profit charity that operates with the help of community support and 3rd sector funders. If possible, we kindly request that you consider choosing KLSB as your designated charity for any upcoming fundraising events. You can easily donate directly to us by clicking on the donate button. We guarantee that 100% of the funds raised will be used to support our community. Additionally, we encourage you to consider adding Gift Aid when donating, as this will increase your donation by 25% at no extra cost to you. Thank you for your support!
